Ukraine’s long steel product imports down 4.7 percent in 2012

In 2012, Ukrainian exports of long steel products decreased by 0.2 percent year on year to 5.729 million mt, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers. In December alone, Ukraine's long steel product exports increased by 14 percent month on month to 506,850 mt.
 
In 2012, Ukraine registered a 4.7 percent decrease year on year in its long steel product imports to 409,960 mt. In December alone, Ukraine's long steel product imports decreased by 4.4 percent month on month to 28,850 mt.
