Ukraine’s coal mining output up 5.2 percent in January-August

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, in the January-August period of the current year Ukraine's coal mining output increased by 5.2 percent year on year to 56.876 million mt, including 40.140 million mt of power-generating coal and 16.735 million mt of coke coal. In August alone, Ukraine's coal production increased by 1.07 percent year on year to 6.594 million mt.
