Ukraine issues export data for H1

According to operational data, during the first six months of 2007, Ukraine saw a two-fold increase in its pig iron exports, a 14 percent increase in its ferroalloy export, a two percent increase in its finished steel exports, but an 8.3 percent decrease in its semis exports and a 5.2 percent in its iron ore exports year on year. The respective figures in metric tons were 1.05 million, 640,300, 8.1 million, 5.7 million and 9.32 million.

Meanwhile, during the period in question Ukraine exported about 365,300 metric tons of scrap, showing a seven percent year on year increase.
