Turkish metal producers’ selling prices up 37.36 percent in September

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in September this year the producer price index (PPI) for Turkish industry in general rose by 1.55 percent over the previous month and was up 12.15 percent year on year.
 
In September, the PPI for the basic metal industry was up 2.08 percent compared to August this year and up 37.36 percent compared to September last year.
 
On the other hand, in September this year the PPI for domestic manufacture of metal products, except machinery, increased by 1.37 percent over the previous month and was up 11.93 percent year on year.
