Turkish foundry Cemas sees output rise by 14.04 percent in H1

On August 12, Kırsehir-based Turkish foundry Cemas Döküm Sanayi A.S. (Cemas) announced that in the first half of this year it increased its production by 14.04 percent year on year to 5,606 metric tons.
 
In the January-June period of this year, Cemas' sales amounted to 5,859 metric tons, rising by 8.4 percent, while its sales revenues came to TRY 15.93 million ($10.45 million), up 15.31 percent, both compared to the same period last year.
 
Founded in 1976, Cemas increased its capacity to 25,000 metric tons in 2009, with new investments (DISA and HWS molding lines) and is serving local and international markets with gray and pig iron and sphero casting parts for the automotive, durable goods and machinery industries.The foundry is equipped with four molding lines, six induction furnaces, three sand mixers, a sand cooler and cold box machines.
