Turkey’s industrial production rises 10.4 percent

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK), in March this year Turkey's monthly industrial production index increased by 10.4 percent year on year, while the seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index declined by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month.
 
In March, the index for the manufacture of basic metals increased by 2.35 percent year on year and was up 6.56 percent over February, while the index for the manufacture of fabricated metal products rose by 12.19 percent year on year and was up by 15.26 percent compared to the previous month.
