Turkey’s HRC exports up 9.8 percent in January-October

In October this year, Turkey's total hot rolled coil (HRC) exports decreased by 7.8 percent year on year to 158,311 metric tons, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $65.3 million, up 1.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.

In the first ten months of this year, Turkey's HRC exports amounted to 1.36 million mt, up 9.8 percent, while the value of these exports decreased by 2.5 percent to $523.2 million, both compared to the same period of 2015.
 
In the first ten months of the current year, Italy ranked first among Turkey's HRC export destinations, with its HRC imports from Turkey amounting to 237,420 mt, followed by Spain which received 209,878 mt of HRC from Turkey in the given period.
