TMK sets up Oilfield Services Division

The Russian pipe producer TMK has announced the establishment of a new Oilfield Services Division. This new independently managed TMK subsidiary is comprised of Orsky Machine Building Plant, pipe coating company Truboplast, TMK Pipe Maintenance Department and TMK Central Pipe Yard.

TMK Oilfield Services Division will focus on entering and also increasing its share in the tubular goods and oilfield services market.

In addition, TMK Oilfield Services Division is currently developing a new investment program aimed at improving and expanding its service offerings. So far, the company plans to set up a new service facility in Nyagan, and also to modernize facilities acquired from TNK-BP to increase their production capacity to about one million metric tons.
