The Russian pipe producer TMK Group (TMK) has announced that it has reached a supply agreement for 2010 with Russian oil and gas major Surgutneftegas, which is one of its largest customers for oil and gas tubulars.

Accordingly, under the terms of the agreement, in 2010 Trade House TMK, a 100 percent-owned TMK subsidiary which manages the group's sales operations, is to deliver a total volume of 164,500 mt of casing, tubing, line pipe and drill pipe to Surgutneftegas.

"This supply agreement with Surgutneftegas is a continuation of our strategic partnership. The cooperation between our two companies is very important to us as it contributes to further developing production of higher value oil and gas pipes at our Russian plants," TMK CEO Alexander G. Shiryaev commented.

TMK and Surgutneftegas entered into a long-term strategic partnership in 2007 and cooperate in the production and supply of steel pipes.
