TISCO to sign MoU with Arcelor

According to recent news in the market, Indian steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Corp (TISCO) is planning to sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Luxembourg-based Arcelor to establish a steel plant in Orissa. The steel plant will have an annual production capacity of 6 million tons and will produce flat products. TISCO officials stated they expect the MoU to be signed by the end of current fiscal year. The details of MoU have not been revealed. Meanwhile, as previously reported by SteelOrbis, TISCO signed MoU with the Orisssa government to participate in Dhamra port projects.
