Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. Ltd (TISCO) has issued its October ex-factory prices for stainless steel products. The details are as follows:
1) CR stainless coil: the prices of the 304 and 321 series have risen by RMB 1,500/mt ($200/mt) compared with September levels. Thus, SUS 304/2B 2.0 mm coil is priced at RMB 33,900/mt ($4,520/mt), while SUS 321/2B 2.0 mm coil costs RMB 47,200/mt ($6,293/mt). 316 series prices retain their September levels, so ASTM 316/2B 2.0 mm coil is worth RMB 60,200/mt ($8,027/mt). The 430 series sees a price increase of RMB 200/mt ($27/mt), while SUS 430/2B 2.0 mm coil is now priced at RMB 13,000/mt ($1,733/mt).
2) HR stainless coil: for the 304 and 321 series, the prices of coils of thicknesses between 1.5 mm and 12 mm have been increased by RMB 1,500/mt ($200/mt), while coils of 14 mm thickness are up RMB 2,000/mt ($267/mt). SUS 304/No.1 3-12 mm coils with mill edge cost RMB 31,900/mt ($4,253/mt). SUS 321/No.1 3-12 mm coils with mill edge are worth RMB 45,200/mt ($6,027/mt).
In comparison with September levels, 430 series of all specifications have seen a price hike of RMB 300/mt ($40/mt) while the 316 series remains unchanged in price. ASTM 316L/No.1 3-12 mm coils with mill edge are priced at RMB 57,300/mt ($7,640/mt), while SUS 430/No.1 3-6 mm coils with mill edge are now at RMB 11,500/mt ($1,533/mt).
3) Stainless plate: for 304 and 321 series plates, prices of 6-14 mm plates have not changed while those of 16-80 mm have increased by RMB 500/mt ($67/mt). Thus SUS 304 10 mm plate costs RMB 33,600/mt ($4,480/mt), while SUS 321 10 mm plate costs RMB 47,600/mt ($6,347/mt).
The prices of the 316 series have remained unchanged. ASTM 316L 10 mm plate is still priced at RMB 58,300/mt ($7,773/mt).
The above prices include VAT and take effect as of October 1.
