Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. Ltd. (TISCO) has issued its July ex-factory prices for stainless steel flat products. The details are as follows:
1) CR stainless coil: The prices of the 304 and 321 series have dropped by RMB 8,000/mt ($1,054/mt), and so SUS304/2B 2.0 mm coil is now priced at RMB 38,400/mt ($5,059/mt). The 316 L series has decreased in price by RMB 5,000/mt ($659/mt), with ASTM316L/2B 2.0 mm coil now at RMB 64,000/mt ($8,432/mt). Finally, the 430 series has gone down in price by RMB 3,000/mt ($395/mt); as a result, SUS430/2B 2.0 mm coil now costs RMB 13,900/mt ($1,831/mt).
2) Stainless Plate: 6-20 mm plates of the 304, 321, and 316L series have seen a price drop of RMB 5,000/mt ($659/mt), while 21-80 mm plates of the same series have been reduced by RMB 3,000/mt ($359/mt).
3) HR Stainless coil: HR coil of the 304, 321, and 316L series has dropped in price by RMB 5,000/mt ($659/mt). The price of SUS304/No.1 3-4.5 mm coil on mill edge basis is RMB 39,600/mt ($5,217/mt). ASTM316L/No.1 3-4.5 mm coil on mill edge basis now costs RMB 64,300/mt ($8,472/mt). As regards the 430 & 409L series, prices retain the same levels as in June.
