ThyssenKrupp to increase prices for third quarter

According to market reports, leading flat carbon steel producer in Germany ThyssenKrupp Stahl is going to raise its flat product prices by €90-100/t for shipments as of July 1. The price increase of around 11% will vary according to the product and market. Prices for deliveries to Southern Europe is planned to be pretty higher than ones to the North. Price hike is aimed to offset rising costs of raw materials and freights worldwide.
