Seamless pipe supplier and producer Tenaris SA has announced that its April to June 2007 quarter fiscal results rose from a year earlier.
Accordingly, the company's April to June 2007 quarter net income increased by eight percent to $534.5 million, operating income went up by 13 percent to $780.4 million, EBITDA rose by 22 percent to $910.7 million and sales increased by 41 percent to $2.604 billion, all compared to the data registered in the second quarter of 2006.
Commenting on the strong results, the company said "Higher raw material and energy costs have increased cost of steel production in the year-to-date, affecting the second quarter of 2007."
