Tata, Bluescope establish new JV

India's Tata Steel and Australia's Bluescope Steel officially established a 50:50 joint venture to develop their steel coating businesses in India and South Asia. Tata Steel and Bluescope are investing Rupees 12 billion ($263 million) in the equal joint venture. The joint venture will set up four manufacturing locations in India – a metallic coating and painting facility in Jamshedpur in eastern India and three roll-forming and pre-engineered building manufacturing plants in Manarashtra, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
