Tangsteel signs cooperation agreement with Siemens China

On April 17, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. (Tangsteel), subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Hebei Iron and Steel Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Siemens China, according to which both sides will explore advanced technologies for energy conservation and environmental protection, as reported by Hebei Economic Daily on April 18. The agreement will cover the whole metallurgical production process with focus on application for environmental protection.
