According to Reuters, steel production cuts will be extended in Tangshan city in China's Hebei Province beyond the end of the winter heating season on March 15, although the city government did not say when the extended cuts will end.

Last week, Reuters said Hebei was considering extending steel production cuts, though this was denied by the provincial government.

“Eight steel mills located near the city center, including Tangsteel, will face unspecified “normalized” production limits after March 15,” Reuters said, while others will have to halt production whenever deemed necessary by the government.
