In November this year, the value of Taiwan's iron and steel exports increased by 20.4 percent year on year to $1.28 billion, according to the preliminary statistics issued by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance. In the given month, the country's iron and steel import value totaled $724 million, up 30.7 percent year on year.
In the first eleven months of the current year, the value of Taiwan's iron and steel exports declined 7.4 percent to $13.08 billion, while the value of the country's imports of iron and steel totaled $7.1 billion, decreasing by 13.2 percent, both on year-on year basis.
