Taiwan’s basic metal export orders up 9.7 percent in January

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in January this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $1.98 billion, up 9.7 percent compared to January 2016 and falling by 9.4 percent compared to the previous month. In December, Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded a 2.2 percent rise month on month.
