In August of the current year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 283,500 metric tons, decreasing by 24.7 percent year on year and down by 17.3 percent as compared to July, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
Meanwhile, in the January-August period of this year, Swedish crude steel output decreased to 3.03 million mt, down 1.6 percent year on year.
