Steel Dynamics to build a new plant in Florida

According to the statement released by Fort Wayne-based steel producer Steel Dynamics Inc, New Millennium Building Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Steel Dynamics is planning to build a new steel fabrication facility in Florida. The construction of the plant is scheduled to be completed early in 2005. Most of the steel used in the new plant, which will serve construction industry, will be supplied by Steel Dynamics' mini-mills Butler and Pittsboro.
