Stable trend for CC prices in China

The trade volume has not changed greatly compared with last week and the market inventories are still at a low level. Although color coated coil market prices still continue to increase, the range of increase has declined gradually as galvanized coil prices have kept stable. The market demand has not increased largely, but low market inventories provide a strong support for the stable price of color coated coils in the future. Furthermore, no steel mill has adjusted its color coated coil ex-factory prices this week. In the future, the changes in color coated coils supply and demand will largely determine the market prices of color coated coils. The weekly increase in the average price of 0.476 mm color coated coils is RMB 50/mt ($6); that of 0.4 mm is RMB 16/mt ($2), and while the average price of 0.286 mm color coated coils imported from Taiwanese Yieh Phui remained unchanged.
