Indian automobile steel wheel manufacturer Steel Strip Wheel Limited SSWL has been selected as supplier of tractor wheel rims by Turkish company Turk Traktor. A SSWL statement said that the initial order is for 4,000 wheel rims to be developed for one of their tractor models but Turk Tractor is also considering SSWL for more sizes.
Turk Tractor, a joint venture of Koc Holding and CNH Global NV, is the largest manufacturer of tractors in Turkey having about a 55 percent domestic market share.
