South Korean SS400 HRC imports in Sept rise sharply from Aug

In September this year, South Korea's SS400 hot rolled coil (HRC) imports came to 104,000 metric tons, increasing by 52,000 mt month on month.
 
Since South Korea's SS400 HRC imports hit a record high of 180,000 mt in March this year, the import volume continued to fall each month, declining to its lowest level for the year in August.
 
Meanwhile, the main factor causing the increase of SS400 HRC imports in South Korea in September was the delayed arrival of volumes which had been due to enter the country in August.
