Germany-based plantmaker SMS Group has announced that its Indian joint venture company Esmech Equipment Pvt. Ltd will supply a twin-stand reversing cold mill for the new cold rolling mill complex of Vietnam-based Hoa Sen Group, located at Vinh City in Vietnam.
SMS stated that the new twin-stand reversing cold mill will be designed for low-carbon steel strips with a maximum width of 1,250 millimeters and will come with two reversing reels, which will be designed to produce finished strip coils with a maximum weight up to 27 metric tons. The new equipment will have an annual production capacity of up to 400,000 mt.
