SMS Group finalizes takeover of majority share in Paul Wurth

German-based plantmaker SMS Group has announced that it finalized the takeover of a majority share in Luxembourg-based Paul Wurth on Monday, December 17.
 
Paul Wurth, ranking among the world's leading producers of blast furnaces, coking plants, and green technology for metallurgical plants, will continue to operate as an independent company within the SMS Group. Paul Wurth expects sales of some €500 million in the current year.
