Shougang raises HRC ex-factory prices for Jan 2008

On December 21, China's Beijing-based steelmaker Shougang announced an upward adjustment of RMB 450/mt ($61/mt) to its January 2008 prices for HRC, compared to the December 2007 levels. Thus, the ex-factory price of Q235B 5.75 mm x 1,500 mm increases to RMB 4,780/mt ($652/mt) including 17 percent VAT.

The new prices are effective as of January 1, 2008.
