Shougang Jingtang’s 2,230 mm CR project nears completion

Work on Tangshan, Hebei-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Jingtang Company's 2,230 mm cold rolled project is continuing, with mechanical and electrical equipment currently being installed.

Construction of the project started on December 16, 2008, with the total construction area covering 238,933 square meters.

Production operations are expected to begin by the end of the current year. The annual output of coil products will be 2.15 million mt, including 1.08 million mt of cold rolled coil products and 1.02 million mt of hot dip galvanized products.
