Shipping delays force Turkey to seek EU scrap

Turkish scrap buyers are reporting they have to get their scrap supply from Western Europe since there is a shipping shortage at Black Sea ports. Most of the Turkish mills are running at full capacity and must now seek out European suppliers. A major buyer in Turkey claims he will probably book most of his material out of Europe in the next few weeks. Despite European suppliers having hiked prices, it appears that most Turkish mills will be following suit.
