Tangshan-based Shengda Iron and Steel Co., Ltd recently commissioned its newly-installed 400 × 200 mm universal H-section production line, successfully meeting Chinese standards for this material.

Tianjin Zhongzhong Technological Engineering Co., Ltd. was responsible for designing and manufacturing the core rolling equipment for the universal H-section production line in question. The successful commissioning of this production line means that China is no longer dependent on imports of 400 mm H-section production equipment, thereby providing more favorable conditions for the development of Chinese H-beam production.
