Shanxi launches China’s first comprehensive coke spot trade platform

Shanxi provincial government announced that after one-year trial period, China’s first comprehensive coke spot trade platform--Shanxi Coke (International) Trade Center has been officially launched on December 22. Approved by Shanxi provincial government, the coke trade center in question led by Shanxi Coke Group Co. Ltd was co-established by other 33 large coke enterprises of Shanxi, such as Shanxi Coking Group and Taiyuan Coal & Gas Group. The first coke transaction also took place on December 22, and on the same date, representatives from 275 Chinese coke enterprises, steel producers and traders conducted online transactions via the platform.
