Shanxi Coking Coal expects strong rise in net profit for 2017

Shanxi Province-based Chinese company Shanxi Coking Coal Co. Ltd (Shanxi Coking Coal) has announced that it expects to register a net profit of RMB 80.0-100.0 million ($12.5-15.625 million) for 2017, rising by RMB 35.78-55.78 million or 80.91-126.14 percent year on year.

The company stated that the supply-side reforms in the steel and coking coal industry contributed to the rising trend of coking coal prices in the given year, while its own improved management also contributed to the better performance of the company.
