Shandong Steel produces S450J0 high strength hot rolled H-section steel piles

Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shandong Iron and Steel has announced that it has successfully produced European standard S450J0 high strength hot rolled H-section steel piles, in line with requirements specified in an order from an overseas customer. Shandong Iron and Steel removed cracks and bubbles through improving the smelting process, the continuous casting process and the rolling process, producing 2,900 mt of the products in question. The products' average yield strength and tensile strength both exceeded the standard levels.
