Shagang Group posts increased sales revenue in first four months

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shagang Group has announced that in the first four months of the current year its sales revenue increased by 6.47 percent year on year to RMB 72.23 billion ($11.47 billion) despite the difficult situation in the steel markets.
 
In the January-April period this year, the pre-tax profit of Shagang Group amounted to RMB 1.24 billion ($196.83 million), while its net profit was RMB 352 million ($55.87 million).
