SGIS Songshan’s net profit up 54.02 percent in January-September

Guangdong Province-based Chinese steel rolling and processing company SGIS Songshan Co., an affiliate of Guangdong-based Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co. (Shaogang), has announced that in the January-September period of the current year it achieved an operating revenue of RMB 19.37 billion ($2.8 billion), up 8.33 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 2.757 billion ($0.40 billion), rising by 54.02 percent year on year.

In the July-September quarter of this year, the company recorded an operating revenue of RMB 7.249 billion ($1.04 billion), up 2.39 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 1.0 billion ($0.14 billion), down 10.79 percent year on year.
