Russia’s TMK increases pipe shipments by 16 percent in H1

In January-June this year, Russia's largest pipe producer TMK shipped 2.166 million mt of steel pipes, 16.2 percent higher than in H1 2010, including 1.22 million mt of seamless pipes (up 15.3 percent) and 946,000 mt of welded pipes (up 17.5 percent). In the given period, TMK's large diameter (LD) pipe shipments increased by 33.7 percent compared to the same period of last year, amounting to 377,000 mt. Its oil country tubular goods (OCTG) shipments increased by 7.4 percent year on year to 783,000 mt in the same period.
