Red October, the Volgograd-based special grade steel subsidiary of Russian state arms export monopoly Rosoboronexport, has announced that it will commence production at its flat steel Mill 1400 on December 1, 2007.
The Mill 1400 is to produce hot rolled sheets of 2.0-3.9 mm in thickness, 0.8-1.0 m in width and 1.6-2.0 m in length.
