Rail Transit Phase II plan for Dalian approved by China’s NDRC

The second phase of the Rail Transit Plan for Dalian in Liaoning Province has been granted approval by China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), as announced by the NDRC on December 30.

Accordingly, total investment in the second phase of the Dalian Rail Transit Plan amounts to RMB 52.904 billion ($8.15 billion). After implementation of the second phase plan, by 2020 Dalian will have eight rail transit lines in operation, with their total length amounting to 298.6 kilometers.
