Preliminary results of AD review on SS plate imported from Belgium
The US Department of Commerce (DOC) published preliminary results of the antidumping administrative review on
stainless steel
plate in coils imported from
Belgium.
On June 30, 2004, the DOC initiated an antidumping administrative review for the period covering May 1, 2003, through April 30, 2004. The review was initiated upon the request of the petitioners, namely Allegheny Ludlum, AK Steel, Butler Armco Independent Union, United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO/CLC, and Zanesville Armco Independent Organization, and the respondent Ugine & ALZ
Belgium (U&A
Belgium).
The DOC preliminarily determined that during the period of review, U&A
Belgium made sales below normal value (NV).
The following weighted-average dumping margin exists for the period May 1, 2003, through April 30, 2004:
