Preliminary results of AD review on certain seamless pipes
The US Department of Commerce (DOC) on September 30, 2003 initiated administrative review of the antidumping duty orders on certain small diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard line and pressure pipes imported from Romania and Brazil. The period of review was August 1, 2002 through July 31, 2003. DOC has preliminarily determined that sales by Romanian producer Silcotub and Brazilian producer V&M do Brazil have been made at less than normal value. DOC also determined to rescind the review with respect to Romanian producer S.C Petrotub S.A as the petitioner withdrew its request for a review for the company. Accordingly, following weighted-average margins exist for Romanian and Brazilian producers:Country/Producer/exporter Margin Romania Silcotub.................................1.38% Brazil V&M do Brazil............................0.90%
