Contrary to the reports appeared in the press that certain steel producers fail to resume their operations in the post holiday period, SteelOrbis understands from the sources in the industry that steel production has started at certain sites already this week and the rest is set to start as of the beginning of next week, as originally planned prior to the holidays.

There are also reports indicating that certain producers plan halts longer than holiday period up to 20 days, however, such reports remain unconfirmed for the time being.
