POSCO to invest $1.42 billion to increase steel production

On November 19, South Korean steel giant POSCO said, in its statement to the Korea Exchange (KCX), that it plans to invest KRW 1.6 trillion ($1.42 billion) for hot-rolled steel plant capacity expansion in South Korea.

The investment is planned to start in January 2011 and last for three years until January 2014.
