POSCO seeks to boost appliance steel business

South Korean steelmaker POSCO hosted a workshop in Shanghai, China on February 25 to expand its global sales of steel products used to make home appliances.

According to a company press release, by improving the level of customer satisfaction with its supply chain management (SCM) system, the event strengthened POSCO's relationship with home appliance companies and focused on upgrading the quality of its products to meet their expectations. It also focused on reviewing past complaints about the company's SCM-related services to find solutions.

More than 50 employees from the related business divisions of the company participated in the workshop.

POSCO aims to boost its sales of household steel products to 2.5 million mt a year.
