POSCO may increase HR coil prices
South Korean steel giant POSCO is expected to hike hot rolled coil prices for domestic market in August. POSCO is reportedly planning to increase it prices by $30-50 following the talks between Hyundai-Hysco and Japanese steel producer JFE regarding the prices. Hyundai-Hysco and JFE decided to increase their prices to $510 to be effective in the third quarter. The price indicates a 13% increase when compared with the price of previous quarter. Hot rolled coil price of POSCO is currently Won 485'000/mt ($418). As previously reported by SteelOrbis, POSCO increased hot rolled coil prices twice this year.POSCO may increase HR coil prices
