POSCO E&C receives order for new Japanese mill

POSCO Engineering & Construction Co. (POSCO E&C), the building division of South Korea's number one steelmaker POSCO, has booked a $66.7 million order for the delivery of steelmaking equipment to Japan-based steel manufacturer Asia Special Steel Co.'s new plant in Hibikinada, Kita-Kyushu.

The new mill, which is currently under construction, is planned to be completed by April 2009.

POSCO E&C will also be responsible for engineering, test operation and the supervision of the plant.
