POSCO completes the expansion of stainless steel mill

Korean steel making giant POSCO announced that it has completed the expansion at the Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Co. in Jiangsu province China. The company spent $110 million for this expansion. Company authorities expressed that they are planning to produce further stainless steel as from next month. Company's annual stainless steel cold rolled coil production has been increased to 280'000 tons from 140'000 tons by this expansion. The mill also produces 120'000 tons of galvanized products but this section was not included the expansion program.
