Parent company acquires additional 106 million shares in WISCO

On January 15, Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd(WISCO) announced that from November 29, 2012 to January 15, 2013 its parent company Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp acquired 106 million shares in Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd, which constitute one percent of the company’s total shares.
 
As of January 15, Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp holds 6.699 billion shares in Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd, accounting for a 66.38 stake in the company’s total shares.
