Pangang Steel starts to dry blast furnace No. 1 at its Xichang plant

Sichuan-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that on October 28 it started to dry blast furnace No. 1 at its steelmaking project located at Xichang in the south of Sichuan. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also started the main construction work on its blast furnace No. 2.
 
As SteelOrbis previously reported, on October 17 this year Pangang Group commissioned coking oven No. 1 at its Xichang facilities.
