Pakistan's iron and steel imports down 25.9 percent in Oct

Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 133,822 mt in October this year, decreasing 15.20 percent compared to September and down 37.76 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistic (PFBS). The value of these imports in October was $56.71 million, decreasing by 12.05 percent month on month and down 31.20 year on year.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in October amounted to 130,079 mt, decreasing by 25.90 percent on year-on-year basis and down 10.23 percent compared to the previous month. In the period in question, the value of Pakistan's iron and steel imports was $93.09 million, falling 31.18 percent year on year.
