Pakistan's iron and steel imports up 40.14 percent in November

Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 176,008 mt in November this year, decreasing 12 percent compared to October and up 30.9 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS). The value of these imports in November was $76.11 million, falling by seven percent month on month and up 56.5 year on year.
 
Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in November amounted to 188,316 mt, rising 40.14 percent on year-on-year basis and up 1.5 percent compared to the previous month. In the month in question, the value of Pakistan's iron and steel imports was $146.15 million, increasing by 33.3 percent year on year and up 6.5 percent month on month.
